Professionally trained in Musical Theatre and a lifelong performer, Tara’s obsession with music history and craftmanship are abundantly clear in every stroke of her pen.

Tara’s personal music style leans country & western with current inspiration from Willie Nelson, Noah Kahan, boygenius, & Phoebe Bridgers.

Primarily a vocalist with a 4+ octave range, Tara’s dramatic coloratura soprano/belter voice has been compared to modern power vocalists like Renee Rapp, Chappell Roan, & Demi Lovato.

Tara’s storytelling often spins metaphors & cliches with creative ease that taps into those gut-wrenching emotions we all know too well and a casualty that might make you a little annoyed you didn’t think of it first.

Despite writing since she was a child, Tara didn’t share her songwriting publicly until meeting her music partner, Kate Keller, in 2022.

Kate & Tara collaborate on most of their projects but notably have a Folk-Americana duo called sistersign.
